Who we are:
Santa’s Elves started out as a dream to inspire hope in children. We want them to believe that love, of themselves and others, is the first step to a successful future. Santa’s Elves was created to help underprivileged children believe there is someone out there that unconditionally loves them.
To make this happen we find the most troubled children in the city then flood them with the love and care they will remember for the rest of their lives. In darkness of their troubles and the hurt that surrounds them, we break through and create that first spark of love. This small stepping stone is created leaving a path to a strong spiritual foundation for their future. Santa’s Elves looks for these little angels in homeless shelters. Our hope is they will remember this act of kindness when times are tough and believe there is someone out there that loves and cares for them.
We accept anything from letters of hope and words of wisdom to physical efforts of volunteering and we also accept monetary donations.
What we know:
Love is the essence that flows through us and of us. It can be described as an emotion, but in actuality it is the true nature of ourselves. Expressed in it’s many forms, love, in it’s purest state, is the acceptance of the God force within. There is only one beloved “true love” relationship. The other half of ourselves. We believe in the energy of a morning prayer. Starting our day by filling ourselves with God’s essence aligns our thoughts with the will of God. Prayer is to unite the individual self with the absolute or pure consciousness. The union of our minds and spirit and the intention of God creates oneness and releases us all of the sense of separation.
Make a commitment today to make the world be a better place. When you step outside this morning say to the first person you see "Good Morning" and say it with a smile! You never know how much of an impact a small act of kindness can have on someone. No matter what it is, whether small or large, let the change in your community start today. Let it start with you.
